About Us
Lion of Zion was born from a feeling we couldn’t shake — that ache of watching tragedy unfold from an ocean away and feeling powerless to help. When the October attacks struck, Gadi and his daughter Eliana found themselves desperate to do something meaningful for the communities impacted. The question was: what could two people, thousands of miles away, possibly do to make a difference?
The answer came from where they’ve always found light — in art, music, and the power of connection. Both lifelong fans of the Grateful Dead, they were inspired by the band’s ethos: community, resilience, and the belief that beauty can rise from heartbreak. What if they could channel that same spirit — the color, the joy, the love — into something that gave back?
So Lion of Zion was created: a collection of apparel infused with hope, inspired by the Dead’s imagery and energy, and designed to support healing and unity. Every piece tells a story — of love for Israel, of standing together even when separated by distance, and of finding strength through creativity. Because when you can’t be there in person, you can still wear your heart on your sleeve.
Where Be’eri is right now
In the January 2026 community update, Be’eri marked this year as a major turning point: the final stretch of rehabilitative rebuilding, with a goal to return home by March 2027.
That timeline matters to us because it turns “support” into something specific. This is a real community, on a real road back — and every order is meant to be part of that road.
