Lion of Zion has just returned from an unforgettable weekend at the Global Conference on Israel, hosted by the Jewish National Fund (JNF), and what an experience it was! We laughed, we cried, and we connected with people from around the world who share a deep love for Israel, community, and renewal.
We heard the powerful story of Omer Shem Tov, a 20-year-old held hostage for 505 days, who shared how hope helped him endure until his release. His parents, Shelly and Malki, co-founders of the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, reminded us how advocacy and love can emerge even from pain.
We met representatives from Kibbutz Be’eri, courageously rebuilding after October 7, 2023, whose strength inspired us all.
Among many incredible speakers, we listened to Nick Lowery, the Hall of Fame NFL kicker who was cut ten times before earning his place in history, and to Israeli world champion Sagi Muki alongside Iranian-born judoka Saeid Mollaei, whose unlikely friendship transcended politics and borders.
Beyond inspiration, we also listened to our own community—customers seeking gifts for their grandkids, designs inspired by the Grateful Dead aesthetic but fresh and original, and apparel that carries joy, meaning, and light. In response, we’re thrilled to announce that new Lion of Zion designs will arrive just in time for Chanukah, reflecting gratitude, creativity, and resilience. This weekend reignited our purpose: to keep creating apparel that connects people through faith, art, and hope.
Shalom from the Lion of Zion team—stay tuned for what’s next!
